    Responsibilities

    Strategy, Sales, Planning and Procurement

     

    • Research and develop growth/new revenue opportunities for annual campaigns and present findings to Leadership Team;
    • Build annual sponsorship plan that identifies sponsor worthy product, target markets, package opportunities, exclusivity, integration concepts, technology platforms and other related opportunities;
    • Engage in ongoing research to identify new corporate sponsorship opportunities including conducting industry and competitive scans;
    • Develop annual sponsor opportunity book that outlines all sponsorship opportunities.
    • Work with Senior Vice President and all stakeholders to develop, coordinate and create sponsorship program and actively solicit sponsorship;
    • Prepare and contact targeted lists of potential sponsors per event, in consultation with the Senior Vice President and Leadership Team;
    • Grow sponsor base into new areas including key sectors in the Hudson Yards sponsor base;
    • Work with creative team to create dynamic decks on a timely basis that differentiates Hudson Yards sponsorship offering.
    • Work with IP/legal teams to create LOI’s, memo’s and corresponding paperwork to finalize sponsorship deals
    • Foster transparent communication amongst internal teams-act as liaison to inform all teams

     

    Sponsor Fulfillment

     

    • Act as the main point of contact for Hudson Yards sponsors for questions and requests.
    • Ensure that all sponsorship commitments are correctly fulfilled, including (but not limited to): proper logo usage; recognition; ticket and table distribution; create events, execute events, create promotions, execute promotions, proper signage, etc.
    • At-event concierge service to event sponsors and other key supporters.
    • Create and/or manage joint collateral pieces including video, print, ads, digital to fulfill on deals,
    • Provide significant assistance in the planning and execution of events with major sponsorship components
    • Maintain and expand the Hudson Yards’ sponsorship database, ensuring all agreement, spend and contact information is kept up-to-date.
    • Maintain regular and on-going correspondence and communication with all sponsors.
    • Creation of and updating of sponsorship packages, templates and agreements.
    • Ensure that all sponsorship agreements are correctly processed and are properly tracked internally.
    • Prepare sponsor invoice requests as required, and act as accounting liaison for information pertaining to sponsorship-related funds.
    • Work with stakeholders/development managers to ensure sponsor fulfillment across all assets.
    • Responsible for production of a sponsor “Year in Review” document.
    • Responsible for organization of all planning sessions

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Minimum 5+ years in a business role related to sponsorship, fund development, and/or business  development
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or event management

    Working conditions:

    • This role is primarily based in an office environment, but will require travel to event venues and non-traditional event spaces. The ability to work early mornings, and evenings when required is essential.
