    Hudson Yards Experiences oversees all of the attraction experiences at Hudson Yards, including New York’s highest Observation Deck and a public interactive experience (Vessel).  In addition, the team plays a significant role in coordination between third party attractions and experiences, and the Hudson Yards team.  Hudson Yards is using the Gateway ticketing system across all ticketing functions, and central coordination of ticket set-up, allotment, and system reporting will be managed within the team.

    The Ticket System Administrator will support the day to day operation of the Galaxy ticketing system across a variety of business areas within Hudson Yards.  Key areas of accountability include operational stability of the system, integration with various financial systems, support of the on-line web store, point-of-sale and kiosk set-up and maintenance, and overall coordination with the Gateway Ticketing Systems team.


    Job responsibilities include:


    • Provide primary support for the Gateway Ticketing System across various sales channels including POS, kiosk, mobile, Order Entry, and back office workstations
    • Monitor and manage ticketing equipment and ticket stock inventory on a continually shifting model
    • Maintain the ticket database including new product set-up and existing product troubleshooting
    • Act as the ticketing subject matter expert to lead discussions on new product, system configurations, and sales programs
    • Coordinate with the Gateway Ticketing System team for troubleshooting, system enhancements, and best practice knowledge


    • Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
    • 3-5 years’ experience working with a point-of-sale system (Gateway is preferred)
    • Ability to code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Knowledge of SQL and database systems
    • Familiarity with payment processing systems
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call, as needed
