    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for the Content Manager include but are not limited to the following:

     

    Content Calendar

    • Manage team editorial and content calendar for all channels (app, blog, social, email, events, website, etc.)

    Management Tools & Analytics:

    • Produce weekly and monthly reporting

    Resident App

    • Develop weekly featured content for the resident app. This will include creating a monthly content calendar that aligns with other Resident facing channels such as social media and blog
    • Oversee content management system (CMS) including uploading all content into the system and approve all published works
    • Point of contact for all building staff as it pertains to building level content such as building/neighborhood events and special promotions at the building.
    • Content manager will be responsible for editing, proofreading and approving all content proposed by building staff.

    Blog Management

    • Manage Relatedlife blog. Create original pieces of content and coordinate the syndication of content from sister companies like Hudson Yards.
    • Maintain relationships with existing syndication partners like Furthermore, Purewow and SoulCycle and research and establish new relationships with businesses in the culinary, travel, finance, art and family spaces.  
    • Oversee blog refresh – work with agency to update blog navigation and make recommendations to create a better user experience.

    Social Media

    • Daily management of social media channels
    • Maintain the established POV and voice outlined in 2018 social media strategy deck
    • Constantly evaluate posting cadence – identify best pace based on performance and testin
    • Related portfolio brand integration points. Share content and hashtags with Equinox, Soul, Hudson Yards, Citi Bike, Dog City, David Chang, etc.
    • Internal communications: Establish weekly communication via email with all business units to understand upcoming events and content opportunities: Hudson Yards, Sales, Corporate Comm., site teams, and outer markets.
    • Promote building community engagement and create a growth plan
    • Reposting plan – user generated content (resident vs. public users)
    • Explore complementary acquisition channels for community and new customer growth. For example: Banner advertising, RR email templates and website…”click to share” – making RR social channels more prominent in acquisition channels and tactics
    • Stay up to date with trends, best practice, and platform updates ie: Facebook/Instagram algorithms, new features such as Facebook live, etc. propose classes, seminars, conferences, etc.

    Related Rentals websites

    • Review website once a week to check for errors including text, images, floor plans and broken links.
    • Maintenance – update assets with new creative when available
    • Create a list of images that should be refreshed and overall ideas about how the sites can be better, ongoing

    Reputation Management

    • Working with internal teams to escalate and respond to comments/complaints on all channels including Yelp
    • Develop and propose response protocol

    Newsletter Management

    • Produce monthly newsletters pulling content from blog
    • Implement share to function – email, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter

    Outer market

    • Evaluate and recommend strategies for outer market pages
    • Oversee and attend photo shoots
    • Attend all events
    • Clean up existing secondary social channels: Youtube, Google +, Pinterest

     

    Qualifications

    Knoweldge and skills

    • 3-5 years experience in content management
    • Need experience with producing creative and interesting content across multiple digital platforms
    • Previous experience with CMS (content management system)
    • Ability to manage and update media apps as needed
    • Experience using different socail media platforms; LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook
    • Previous website maintenance experience 
    • Previous experience editing, proofreading and approving content

    *This indivudual will manage all forms of content distributed and own the process from start to finish
