    Responsibilities

    Procurement is responsible for ensuring that all of our non-construction spend is sourced, managed and transacted at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership.  This traditionally involves reviewing each area of spend or category through a Strategic Sourcing Methodology.  To facilitate this work, the Procurement team heavily leverages the outputs of our annual Spend Analysis process.  The execution and management of this process (data gathering, consolidation, cleansing, reporting and analyzing) is the primary function for our summer intern.

     

    • Gather spend data files
    • Cleanse, report, categorize, analyze and document the process into a repeatable set of instructions to be leveraged for future years

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate will be a rising junior or senior with the following skills:

    • Degree in STEM, Quantitative or Business
    • Strong data skills and experience working with large datasets (> 100,000 rows)
    • Microsoft Access preferred, but Excel acceptable if the right experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual
    • Keen Attention to Detail
    • High Energy; Possessed with Drive
    • Strong Organizational Skills
    • Excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management
