    Related Management Company is seeking to hire a Community Manager who will be directly responsible for providing customer service and management at a fast-paced, 200+ unit property in Chicago, IL.

    Role Summary:

    The Community Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the property. As the Community Manager, you will be supervising the office and maintenance staff and responsible for marketing, leasing, rent collection, accounts payable and ensuring compliance with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes.


    Core Responsibilities:

    • Collect rent, process invoices and manage the overall financial health of the property
    • Oversee upkeep of the property, annual apartment inspections, unit turns, and preventive maintenance.
    • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and ensure that all appropriate communications are distributed on a timely basis
    • Recruit, train, coach, manage and motivate team members 
    • Attend trainings, seminars and conferences
    • Managing the application and recertification/lease renewal process 
    • Enforce community policies and issue non-compliance notices as necessary

    • Two+ years property management experience
    • Strong leadership, organizational and administrative skills
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and  other industry software experience required
    • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
    • Good problem solving skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills
