    Hudson Yards is the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States and the largest development in New York City since Rockefeller Center.     Responsibilities

    The Property Coordinator in conjunction with the General Manager, Property Manager and Security Director provides adequate management and administrative support for property, security and engineering staff and fulfills all tasks described in the job description in compliance with all company policies and procedures.

     

    Ability to work within a very dynamic environment and balance significant hours of office work and overtime, with walking around the property to meet the needs for adequate property management. May occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, electrical hazards and moderately noisy areas.  


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordination of IT issues
    • General administrative support tasks
    • Miscellaneous tasks and special projects, as needed
    • Support and implement all aspects of building management and security as needed
    • Manage and supervise ManageStar, Aperture and Security Card Access/CCTV programs
    • Provide adequate management and administrative support for property, security and engineering staffs
    • Manage and administer operations and emergency manuals, archiving, office staff and IT equipment
    • Coordinate IT issues with appropriate operational functionality
    • Coordinate any operational logistics with the appropriate Related IT contacts
    • Assist in the creation and updating of various operations and security manuals
    • Understanding and updating of all building rules and regulations
    • Assist in developing and execution of vendor contracts
    • Supervision of cataloguing and indexing of files both manually and electronically
    • Interaction with various trades and vendors, including third-party resources
    • Archiving and management of digital documentation
    • Assist with special projects as needed

    Qualifications

    Key Skill Set

    • Ability to understand building systems and property management issues
    • BA/BS Degree preferred
    • Ability to proofread and edit
    • Ability to use a variety of software, including Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, etc.
    • Ability to interact with personnel department, interviews and new hires
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent telephone presentation skills
    • Ability to understand and work on budgets
    • Ability to understand administration contracts with outside vendors
    • Organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
    • Ability to assist in the process of bid proposals
    • Ability to assist and supervise security functions for protection of occupants, visitors and property in accordance with building policies and procedures
    • Ability and commitment to learn new material quickly and upgrade skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Education and Professional Qualifications

    • Relevant experience working for a commercial real estate developer
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Willingness to work late or on weekends
