    Responsibilities

    Related Real Estate Debt Strategies (“RREDS”) seeks to hire an Analyst for its high yield debt investment platform, a joint venture with HPS Investment Partners, a global credit and private investment firm. Together, RREDS and Highbridge have invested $1.4 billion with a focus on real estate debt, specifically gap financing for transitional real estate projects across the U.S. and Western Europe. The venture targets investment opportunities in gateway cities and select secondary markets which demonstrate strong supply/demand characteristics.

    The Analyst will be responsible for the financial analysis and execution of all new and existing debt investments. She/he will report to senior management and be based in New York, NY.

    Responsibilities

     

    • The Analyst will focus on supporting all aspects of loan originations and portfolio management.
    • Underwrite new potential investments.
    • Author comprehensive investment committee memos outlining investment rationale, deal returns, and key execution risks.
    • Prepare financial and quarterly reports for senior management, investors, and/or rating agencies.
    • Support the due diligence and closing of new transactions.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in real estate, investment banking, or finance.
    • Understanding of real estate credit.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and modeling skills are required.
    • Exceptional time management and prioritization are necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment where the Analyst will be required to manage multiple projects with significant responsibilities and competing priorities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels are keys to success at Related.
    • Must be able to work well in groups but also take ownership of tasks.
    • Attention to detail as well as a strong desire to grow and succeed is critical.
