    Responsibilities

    Your role with the company:

    • Related Management has a rare opportunity for a hard-working, dynamic District Manager. This candidate must be a professional with a proven history of results, including asset preservation, budget performance, industry compliance, and effective communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate would be a detail oriented individual accustomed to working on a deadline driven schedule. A person in this position must have the ability to function autonomously while working in conjunction with coworkers located in other areas of the country. Time will be spent in both Georgia and Florida at the various sites. This person must be a road warrior ready for a challenge!

    Key Role Skill Set:

    With this unique opportunity you can expect your responsibilities each day to fluctuate, but here are some of the tasks and knowledge you will be exposed to:

    • Complete oversight of all real estate property management functions including managing the day-to-day administrative and maintenance operations
    • Assist at time with some site accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
    • Ensures that all resident complaints are handled expeditiously, diplomatically and professionally.
    • Supervises the appropriate building security measures, incident documentation, lease violation reports and proper notification of management, owner and/or insurance carriers where necessary.
    • Develops, implements, and assures continued implementation of preventive maintenance programs; coordinates with and is responsive to the Regional Facilities Manager, if applicable. Develops appropriate schedules and formalizes the program in writing.
    • Ensures that maximum economic rents are achieved through the active rent level management, general and targeted outreach methods, assurance of leasing skills, and resident retention programs.

    Qualifications

    Background Profile:

    • Knowledge of building systems
    • Strong leadership, supervisory and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and broaden the picture of goals.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Driven to keep programs and standards in place on an ongoing basis.
    • Desired results through proven management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
    • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team of professionals.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Yardi.
    • Customer service driven.
    • Experience in budget monitoring and control helpful.
    • Must possess as 4-year college degree from an accredited institution.
    • Knowledge in rent stabilized properties a plus.
