    The Director, Procurement Operations is responsible for leading the Procure to Pay (P2P) initiative and team within Related.  This effort will require working with all Related stakeholders to document existing spend management processes to enable the processes on Related’s P2P Platform.  In addition, this individual will lead the Procurement Operations team with responsibility for system administration, supplier enablement, user enablement (training/communications) and support.

    This lead serves as an expert on application functionality and configuration requirements. They are responsible for formulating and evaluating policies, recommendations for policy changes and obtaining approvals.  The lead is a key driver for inputs into Communications, Training, Performance Metrics and Supplier Enablement.


    • Responsible for implementing and managing on-going operations for Related’s P2P solution
    • Responsible for the acquisition, deployment, and management any other P2P related technologies to drive efficiencies and cost savings
    • Develop and implement on-going training and communication programs with internal customer groups
    • Monitor and report on usage of P2P tools and implement plans for improving tool usage/value
    • Originate new concepts and innovative approaches for the Purchase-To-Pay processes and technologies
    • Work with Procurement, AP, Accounting and IT to manage on-going data expansion needs for data analysis and reporting systems
    • Develop skills of P2P Operations team and provide performance review reporting
    • Lead Related end-users through our implementation.
      • Guides stakeholders through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into best practices.
      • Authors Functional Design and Configuration documents as needed
      • Plans and manages project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time and meet quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
    • Ensures procurement and disbursement controls are effective and imbedded in the process and technology.
    • Drive continuous improvement through metric based performance and business unit partnership.
    • Shares expertise through training and communications with end-users ensuring knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.


    Team Work / Leadership 


    • Executes with minimal guidance and shows strong initiative.
    • Leads team of individuals to execute goals for P2P program
    • Works with other departments to determine what resources/skills are needed (e.g., accounts payable, accounting, legal, sourcing, IT) and brings them in as necessary.
    • Maintains regular communication with team members (e.g., face-to-face, via voicemails, emails).
    • Proactively collaborates with teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution delivery (e.g., change in scope).
    • Manages internal and external resources to optimize Business Unit impact.


    • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred)
    • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/AP function required
    • Experience with leading eProcurement platforms, Coupa experience preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required
    • Broad knowledge of spend management strategies, procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale projects is a plus.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Industry experience is a plus
    • Strong analytical and organizational talent
    • Demonstrated Project Management or PMI preferred
