Your Role Within the Company:
The Floating Maintenance Supervisor will be overseeing 20+ market rate apartment complexes across Brooklyn/Long Island City, totaling 400+ units. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to make a next step in their career. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, apartment turn overs, troubleshooting and repairing maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry. This candidate will be assisting with snow removal, responding to on-call emergencies and working with the office team to make sure all make-ready repairs and services are completed and on schedule. Candidate must stay current on all applicable building codes/safety standards along with maintaining the trash room and dumpster areas. Ability to diagnose and relay information to supervisors and strong emphasis on work orders and tenant repairs.
*This candidate will be willing to travel across multiple locations and have reliable transportation.
* Must have strong boilers, plumbing, electric and carpentry experience. P99 PREFERRED
