We are looking for a future IT Help Desk Professional to provide internal support for employees and contractors at Related Midwest. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, be passionate about technology and helping people. We support Macs, PCs, BYOD, faxes, copiers, etc.


  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through tickets or email. Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed.


 Our ideal candidate will be a rising senior with the following skills:


  • Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac OS X, and Office 365
  • Active Directory maintenance, Exchange 2013
  • Mac and PC hardware, Copiers, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
  • Client PC connectivity - Ethernet, WIFI and VPN
  • File server knowledge
  • Experience with Symantec and Websense security products
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • 2 years+ experience working in a Windows/Mac environment
