Responsibilities

The Sustainability Intern will contribute to the analysis of our buildings’ energy and water use, reporting, and project work to improve the cost and operational efficiency of Related’s new construction and upgrade the profile and performance of its existing portfolio.

 

  • Evaluate property execution of recycling and other “green living” services and amenities offered to Related residents
  • Updates different sustainability sits and drives
  • Evaluate  Related’s procurement of office supplies
  • Present sustainability initiatives to different teams at Related
  • Survey and monitor  the installation of sustainable products

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a rising senior or first year graduate student with the following skills:

 

  • Minimum 3.2/4.0 GPA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Keen Attention to Detail.
  • High Energy; Possessed with Drive.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management.
  • A strong passion for Real Estate Development; a plus.
  • A curriculum focused around sustainability.
  • Strong sense of integrity and ethics. Values entrepreneurialism. Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to new levels of success
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
