Responsibilities

Related Companies is seeking Accounting summer interns for various divisions within our firm. Interns will have the opportunity to assist in daily accounting activities, cash management, journal entries, bank reconciliations and coordination of accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as assist with various reporting needs for their division.

 

  • Assist with data validation for corporate accounting’s consolidation software
  • Assist with the validation of the reports generated by the consolidation software
  • Create basic accounting reports
  • Assure balance sheet, income statement, and partner capital reports
  • Create mortgage notes and property net report from consolidation software that agrees with reported numbers

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a rising junior or senior student with the following skills:

 

 

  • BA or BS  (business, accounting, finance preferred; all majors considered)
  • Minimum 3.2/4.0 GPA
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Keen Attention to Detail
  • High Energy; Possessed with Drive
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management
  • A strong passion for Real Estate Development
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
