Responsibilities

The Leasing Intern will support the retail leasing team in all efforts to ensure that leasing-related administrative work flows smoothly and all records and documentations are accurate, complete, current, filed appropriately and uploaded to the internal networks. 

  • Oversee all leasing-related administrative tasks and ensure that all records and documentations are accurate, complete, current, filed appropriately and uploaded to the internal networks.
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date internal leasing databases which will include all characteristics of current and prospective deals as it relates to economics, lease terms and status of deal.
  • Assist with drafting proposals and letters of intent with proper supporting documents -- ensuring all information is accurate and properly updated in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and update status of all current deals as needed for all projects in pipeline and prepare detailed weekly reports of leasing activity for senior management.
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date leasing merchandising plans for each project.
  • Coordinate marketing support materials for the leasing team, as needed. 
  • Assist with other leasing-related administrative tasks and projects within the team and support any adhoc requests.
  • Provide market research. Maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of retailers. 

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, results-driven, adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, specifically Excel.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of value creation.
  • Ease in working with people up and down the organizational hierarchy. Naturally adaptive to different audiences.
  • Diplomatically assertive.
