Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition and Development team at Related is committed to protecting founder Stephen M. Ross’ belief that “people are our greatest asset.” Related views the hiring of a new candidate as a commitment on both ends, and strives to fill availabilities on both skill and cultural fit. The Talent Acquisition and Development team is responsible for recruitment of talent, employee development, performance and compensation review and ensuring best practices of human capital throughout the company.

 

The Talent Acquisition Intern will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition and Development team in all aspects of their projects including; Human Resources coordination, Intern Program operations, applicant tracking software management, research and sourcing calls, facilitating interviews, and the new hire onboarding processes. This position will be based in New York and report to the Head of the group.

 

  • Support the Talent Acquisition and Development team in all aspects of execution
  • Manage the company’s applicant tracking online software
  • Perform market research and sourcing duties; gather market intelligence based on search strategy
  • Facilitate and participate in the interview process of potential candidates
  • Generate position specifications for all new open positions
  • Assist with the launch of new open positions
  • Assist with research for new internship program initiatives and creation of campus recruitment strategy
  • Support the new hire onboarding process
  • Assist in organization and management of the internship program

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a rising junior or senior with the following skills:

 

  • BA or BS  (business, human resources, communications preferred; all majors considered)
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • High energy; possessed with drive
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent professional demeanor with the ability to work with a wide range of levels of management
  • A strong passion for real estate
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
