Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible, under the direction of the Resident Manager/Property Manager, for providing general maintenance services in compliance with all company policies and procedures, Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assures that tasks are completed to RMC’s standards and procedures.
  • Ability to repair and maintain equipment such as fans, motors and pumps.
  • Painting as needed
  • Ability to plumb and other electrical services.
  • Complies with all necessary health and safety requirements.
  • Prepares vacant apartments for move-in.
  • Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
  • Special projects, as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Background in painting is a plus
  • Skills may be acquired through previous job experience or outside activities.
  • In-service training available.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule.
  • Knowledge of water and gas meter cut-offs. All building section cut-offs. Building sewer clean outs and water cut-offs desired.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Some sites may require HVAC certification.
